I race professional off-road motocross for Perry Concepts on a 2017 Honda CRF450R. I started racing when I was 3 years old on a Suzuki LT50, however I soon found quads weren’t for me, so in 1998 I hopped on a Honda XR50 and haven’t stopped twisting the throttle on dirtbikes ever since.
I raced motocross up until 2007, when my dreams of turning pro had been cut short due to financial restrictions… or so I thought. After graduating high school in 2012, I started working and started saving to buy another dirtbike, and get back to racing. In late 2013, I finally had enough cash saved to buy a used Honda CR250, and started racing the Worcs Series in 250A and Pro 2 Lights, while also racing motocross and making the trip to Loretta’s. At the end of 2014 I finished off the Worcs season 3rd in 250A, and Pro 2 Lights.
In 2015 I stepped up to a Honda CRF450R, and decided to race the Worcs Series in 450A and Pro 2, and AMA Arenacross in 2-Stroke Open on a YZ250. I rode well with good results all year until I broke the tib/fib in my left leg in Vegas at the final round of Arenacross. I still finished 2nd in points for the year in Arenacross, and 4th in points for both the 450A and Pro 2 classes in the Worcs Series after missing one round. In 2016 I decided to focus on off-road, and at the end of the year I won the 450A and Pro 2 championships in the Worcs Series, and the Heavyweight Expert Championship in the AMA Big 6 Series.
2017 was my rookie year racing the Pro class in Worcs and AMA Big 6, and after a strong season I finished 3rd in the Worcs Pro Championship, and 6th in AMA Big 6. Now just over halfway through 2018, I’ve had a rough year with mechanical issues and injuries, and I am currently recovering from having my ACL reconstructed and surgery to have my shoulder repaired. I’ll be back on my dirtbike training hard by December, and ready to take on 2019 racing the Worcs Series, Sprint Hero Enduro, and the ISDE Qualifiers, along with a few select motocross races.
